Several users took to Twitter to share their problems with hashtag #instagramcrashing. One of the Twitter users, who goes by the handle @zubinfitter posted screenshot of a ‘Link not allowed’ message he kept getting while trying to open Instagram. The message says, “It looks like your profile contains a link (1.126.48.79) that is not allowed. We restrict certain content and actions to protect our community. Tell us if you think we made a mistake.”
For now, reinstalling the Instagram app seems to be working for some users. An official word from Instagram, however, is awaited.
