Pakistani citizen named Deen Mohammad Shaikh managed to convert 108 thousand Hindus. Activities encourage Hindus to convert to Islam has been lived since 1989.

Shaikh Mohammad who is now 70 years old, formerly a Hindu and without any coercion finally decided to embrace Islam. Currently, he became chairman of the Jami 'Wali Allah and Islam Madrasah Ta'limul Quran Aisha, an institution to facilitate converts.

Shaikh Mohammad was very distinctive appearance, often seen carrying a cane to help him walk. A red and white scarf kafiyeh placed on his shoulders as give lectures and guidance to non-Muslims there.

Shaikh Mohammad has been donating nine hectares of land to be donated to converts to set up a tent and stay overnight to avoid intimidation and do not become homeless.

sources said that Mohammad Shaikh at first he had to learn the Koran in secret to avoid misunderstandings when he was seen holding the Koran by Muslims at that time. Funnily enough, he started fasting secretly and in fact he is being started fasting the day before Ramadan begins.

Shaikh Mohammad's mother began to see signs children will move to another religion. He thought if he was married, he would not convert. Finally, at the age of 15 years marriage took place and without the long time he has had four girls and eight boys.

But his interest in Islam is not only limited to that. When filled with flavor

wants to know, he met an Islamic teacher named Sain Mohammad Jagsi, who told him to learn the Qur'an and Hadith.

Fortunately, uncle Mohammad Shaikh minded with him, and they give each other strength. Shaikh Mohammad to hold his daughter married to a Hindu as he had planned, because he thought it would be difficult to convert when you're married.

After boldly announced that he had converted to Islam, Deen Mohammad Shaikh start planning a mission to preach to other Hindus. Mohammad Shaikh began his preaching neighbors behind the back of the house, up to a big family.

When running this preaching mission Mohammad Shaikh met with the rich and powerful in the city Matli and willing to help pave the way. The benefactor is a retired Pakistani army named Sikandar Hayat, the owner of sugar factories in Matli. It offers a large amount of money with the Shaikh, but was rejected. Instead, he urged Hayat to provide jobs for some people newly migrated. Finally Hayat menyanggupinya and continue to provide assistance with her daughter.

Currently known Shaikh Mohammad name has spread throughout Matli and people started coming to him up from the city as far away as Balochistan, including the followers of all religions and sects, who want to migrate. Then a small mosque built housing complex with several rooms where children, mostly girls, are taught how melafazkan prayers and reading the Quran.

Although there were already 108,000 people who had converted to Islam, Mohammad Shaikh was still not satisfied with his performance. He wants everyone in the world into Muslims and learn from the example of the Rasulullah SAW.
