Former tennis star Andy Roddick and his model/actress wife, Brooklyn Decker, have put their North Carolina home on the market for $2.99 million—although noticeably, it doesn’t come with a tennis court.
The four-bedroom, custom-built mountain retreat, completed in 2013,
is located in the village of Cashiers. It is surrounded by rivers and
waterfalls, with expansive views of the Blue Ridge and the Appalachian
mountains, according to Forbes.
“I grew up in North Carolina, and we absolutely love this area,” the
former Sports Illustrated cover model, who is currently starring in the
TV series “Grace and Frankie” alongside Jane Fonda and Martin Sheen,
told the news site.
The couple designed the home intending to live there long term, but
they decided they needed more space after their son Hank was born last
year. They will move into a larger home that they built nearby.
Last September, Mr. Roddick, a former world No. 1-ranked singles tennis
player, and Ms. Decker sold their three-story home in Cheviot Hills, Los
Angeles for $3.3 million. They paid almost $2.8 million for it in 2013.
